NYC Private Walking Tours
The same storytelling guides who lead our daily free tours — reserved just for your group. Corporate teams, families, schools, cruise stopovers and friends who want Manhattan at their own pace.
A Tour Built Around Your Group
Tell us who is coming and what you care about — history, architecture, Broadway, film locations, hidden corners — and we shape the route, the pace and the stories to match. One fixed price, one dedicated guide, zero surprises.
Tell Us About Your Group
Send the date, group size and interests through the form below (or email / call us). We reply with a plan and a fixed quote — usually the same day.
We Design the Route
Start from our classic Midtown walk, the High Line urban hike, or a fully custom itinerary. We adapt for mobility, language (English or Spanish) and your schedule.
Meet Your Guide & Walk
Your guide meets you at the agreed spot — our Bryant Park meeting point, your hotel lobby or your office — and the tour is yours for two full hours.
Simple, Flat-Rate Pricing
Unlike our daily tours, private tours have a fixed price agreed upfront — ideal for budgets, event planning and corporate approvals.
Flat fee of $190 is applied for a tour group of 2 hours (+30 min meeting & logistical preparation) for groups of up to 6 people*, with additional $19 pp for groups over 6, or $9 pp for students.
- Groups over 6: additional $19 per person
- Students: $9 per person — School ID or other document showing your proof of academic affiliation and current status required
- There is a maximum of 30 people per group. Beyond that number, an extra tour guide is dedicated.
- Corporate customers get issued an invoice on request
| Group size | Flat fee | Additional per person | Students |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 6 people | $190 | — | $9 pp |
| 7 – 30 people | $190 | + $19 pp | $9 pp |
| Over 30 people | An extra tour guide is dedicated — we send you a quote | ||
Examples: a team of 10 is $190 + 4 × $19 = $266. A class of 25 students with 2 teachers is $190 + 21 × $9 = $379.
*Bookings made for the holiday season (December 24 – January 2) are charged 50% on top of their regular price.

Private Tour FAQ
How is a private tour different from your free tour?
The daily tour is pay-what-you-wish and open to everyone. A private tour is reserved exclusively for your group, on the date, time and route you choose, with a fixed price agreed in advance.
How far ahead should we book?
A week is comfortable; in busy seasons (spring, fall, December) two to three weeks is safer. Last-minute requests are welcome — ask and we will check guide availability.
Can the tour be longer than 2 hours?
Yes. Tell us the time you have and we quote the extended version. Many corporate groups combine a 2-hour walk with a coffee or lunch stop.
What if it rains?
New York walks in the rain. We carry on unless conditions are unsafe, in which case we reschedule with you at no cost.
Do you offer tours in Spanish?
Yes — we run Spanish tours every day, so a private tour en español is easy to arrange.
Can we get an invoice?
Corporate customers receive an invoice on request; just mention it in the form.
Prefer to Join a Daily Tour?
English every day at 10 AM, Spanish at 10:30 AM & 3 PM, the High Line at 5:30 PM — pay what you wish at the end.
