What to Expect On the Day

From the moment you book to the moment the tour ends — here’s exactly how it works.

Tour at a Glance

Two Hours. Five Landmarks. Zero Dollars.

Every Day — Two Languages

English at 10:00 AM sharp, Spanish at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM — rain or shine, 365 days a year. Arrive 10–15 minutes early; your guide is there from 9:45 AM with the orange & black umbrella.

You Decide the Value

No ticket, no upfront cost. At the end, pay your guide whatever you feel the tour was worth — most guests give what they’d pay for a good tour anywhere, but there is genuinely no pressure and no minimum.

Comfortable Group Walks

1.5 miles at an easy pace with plenty of stops. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water in summer and layers in winter — and your camera. The route is stroller-friendly and mostly flat.

How to Find Us

The Meeting Point

We meet at 1080 6th Ave — the corner of 6th Avenue & 42nd Street on the Bryant Park side, right across from Whole Foods. Look for the orange & black umbrella with the Statue of Liberty. Subway: B, D, F or M to 42 St–Bryant Park; the 7 to 5th Ave; or a short walk from Times Square or Grand Central.

After You Book

Your Confirmation Email

The moment you book, a confirmation email lands in your inbox with your tour date, start time, the exact meeting point with map link, and what to bring. Can’t find it? Check spam, then email info@nycfreetour.com and we’ll sort it out.

That’s Everything — Now Come Walk With Us

Booking is optional but helps our guides plan. Either way, the tour is free and you’re welcome.
